Sustainable for the future

For years, the Netherlands was known as a country with high absenteeism due to illness and a large number of disabled people. After a number of drastic reforms in social security, absenteeism due to illness has fallen sharply and the number of employees who are disabled has fallen sharply. However, this has not resulted in an increase in the labor participation of people with disabilities. The desired inclusive labor market (a labor market in which everyone, including people with disabilities, can participate sustainably) has not yet been achieved. How do we explain this and what can we do about it? Our mission is: a 100% inclusive labor market by 2025! The starting point here is what someone can contribute to the employment process. Naturally, people with disabilities are also part of this. In short: thinking in possibilities instead of barriers. After all, today's labor market requires creative solutions. The welfare state as we know it is slowly changing into a participation society. Everyone, including employers, is expected to take responsibility. In 2015, total healthcare costs in the Netherlands amounted to 94 billion euros. That is 15 percent of what citizens and companies in the Netherlands earn together. The CPB calculated that this could increase to 31 percent by 2040. Money that cannot be spent on employment, for example. Everyone is affected by the participation society. The labor market is inextricably linked to this. Investing in a 100% inclusive labor market is therefore inevitable. Based on our conviction, we strive to make organizations aware of the need for a 100% inclusive labor market. Our goal is to organize all companies in Central and Southern Netherlands by 2025 in such a way that they are 100% labor inclusive. Everyone is a fully-fledged part of the labor market and has personal value for that same labor market. Also people with disabilities. An inclusive labor market contributes to the opportunities for sustainable entrepreneurship. This development is in full swing and is being stimulated by the government through various measures and subsidies. Our services focus primarily on the factors of organization, people and work. These factors are crucial to prevent people from dropping out, ending up on benefits and subsequently having to be helped into a job from a benefit situation. Ultimately, it is much more efficient and effective if people remain sustainably employable. To achieve this, it is necessary that employers also become more flexible by, for example, adapting tasks and functions. On the other hand, employees must be trained for new tasks in order to be able to perform functions sustainably and efficiently. We have a future-oriented vision and want to grow into a knowledge organization that is at the center of the 'new society'. We have set ourselves the goal of convincing organizations of the 100% inclusive labor market based on our social involvement and inspiration. As a specialist, we focus on the 3 influenceable factors: organization, people and work. WerkmansMobiliteit helps organizations and their people realize a valuable future. Mobility, vitality and flexibility contribute to new, sustainable entrepreneurship. Organizations have no choice but to go along with this development, which has already been set in motion by, among other things, the quota scheme and the participation law. Organizations that value sustainable employability and act accordingly make optimal use of their own talent and can work towards sustainable and socially responsible entrepreneurship. They have invested and are staying ahead of the inevitable social changes around us. Inclusive organizations are far ahead of their competitors in their development. Improve the performance of these organizations. Absenteeism has become an exception instead of a rule.
